Common AIOU Problems & How to Solve Them
Before contacting us, check if your issue is covered in our quick troubleshooting guide below.
- Default username = your enrollment number
- Default password = your CNIC (13 digits, no dashes)
- Click 'Forgot Password' and use your registered email
- If still stuck, visit your regional campus with CNIC
- Check LMS dashboard — status should show 'Submitted'
- If not, email lms@aiou.edu.pk with your submission screenshot
- Include: enrollment no, course code, assignment no, submission date
- Contact regional campus if no response in 3 days
- Books dispatch takes 4–8 weeks after admission confirmation
- Call AIOU Books section: 051-9057625 with your enrollment number
- Alternatively, collect from your regional campus directly
- Download PDFs from our Original Books section in the meantime
- After the deadline, the LMS portal closes submission for that assignment
- Speak to your regional campus — in rare cases extensions are granted
- Re-enroll in the course next semester if necessary
- Plan ahead using our Academic Schedule section
- Log in to LMS → Examination → Roll Number Slip
- Slip becomes available ~4 weeks before exams
- Also dispatched by post to your registered address
- Visit regional campus if unavailable on LMS
- Submit a written application to AIOU Examination Wing
- Include: roll number, course code, examination date, examination centre name
- Attach any available proof of attendance
