In the AIOU grading system, your final course grade is determined by two components: Continuous Assessment (CA) — 30% and the Final Written Examination — 70%. While 30% may sound like a smaller portion, it can be the decisive factor in your final grade. If you score 25/30 on assignments (83%) but 45/70 on the exam (64%), your combined grade is 70/100 (B). If you had scored only 15/30 on assignments, your combined grade would drop to 60/100 (C). Strong assignment performance gives you a cushion going into the examination.
